Update on Jace Peterson
May 11, 2012 - Midwest League (MWL) Fort Wayne TinCaps
In Thursday night's game at Parkview Field, Jace Peterson was injured in a first-inning collision with pitcher Colin Rea. Peterson was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center for evaluation. He was diagnosed with a neck injury and discharged on Thursday night. He is currently on the TinCaps disabled list.The following is a statement from Peterson on his injury:
"I'm feeling good. It was unfortunate that it happened. I'm thankful that it's nothing more serious than it is. I'm going to use this time to get fully healed and hopefully I can come back soon."
