Mississippi RiverKings News Release
OLIVE BRANCH-The Mississippi RiverKings joined hundreds of moms, dads, children and other people in the community to celebrate the Olive Branch Family YMCA's Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 28, which included a 5K followed by all kinds of activities, games and dance and song performances.
The RiverKings' contribution was the Slap Shot inflatable, plus the talents of mascot RiverThing, who visited with race winners, performers and families all over the complex, encouraging children finishing the 1-mile fun walk and dancing a jig with participants inside.
"It was great to see so many families out, and a good time was had by all," RiverKings volunteer and Southaven resident Jordan Price said.
