Darling to Join Wichita's Championship Run

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings netminder Scott Darling has been called up by the Wichita Thunder to join their championship run in the Central Hockey League. This will be Darling's second stint with the team."We're very happy for Scott and this opportunity for him," RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser said. "Joining a team in the middle of a championship run will be a great experience for him."
The Lemont, Ill. native appeared in one game with the Thunder earlier this season, allowing four goals on 21 shots. In 35 games with the RiverKings, Darling was 15-17-1 with a 2.92 goals against average and a 90.5 save percentage.
