Abbotsford took a 1-0 series lead over Toronto in their Western Conference Semi-Final best-of-seven series, after a 3-1 win tonight at Ricoh Coliseum. The Heat jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal from Max Reinhart 15:34 into the first period. Chris Breen scored what proved to be the game-winning-goal 8:17 into the second period. Toronto owned the puck for much of the third period, outshooting Abbotsford 15-5, but we unable to beat goaltender Danny Taylor. Matt Frattin added the loan Marlies tally.
