Team Notes

* Last night's Dragons win marked only the third time in the league this season (64 MWL games) in which a team trailing at the end of the eighth inning rallied to win. The Dragons also enjoyed a win on April 6 when they led after eight innings, but trailed after eight and one-half, and battled back in the bottom of the ninth to come from behind and win. The Dragons 2011 club that went 83-57 won only four games all season in which they trailed at the end of the eighth inning.

* The Dragons collected 10 hits last night to raise their team batting average on the year from .198 to .211. They scored a season-high six runs.

* Dragons starting pitchers have allowed one run or less in five of the team's eight games this season.

* Three members of the Dragons are rated among the Reds top 30 prospects according to Baseball America. They include outfielder Kyle Waldrop (#22), second baseman Ryan Wright (#23), and first baseman Sean Buckley (#24).

* Five current Dragons played in Dayton in 2011, including outfielders Theo Bowe and Jefry Sierra, both of whom started all three Dragons playoff games last year. The others are starting pitchers Tanner Robles and Stalin Gerson and infielder Brandon Dailey.

* The Dragons roster represents the following NCAA Division I conferences: Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, Conference USA, PAC 12, Atlantic 10, Big West, and the Atlantic Sun.
