Rochester Special Hockey Holding 7th Annual All Star Hockey

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Special Hockey will host its 7th Annual "ALL STAR" tournament at the Sports Center at Monroe Community College on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15.The tournament gives players who are developmentally disabled the opportunity to experience what many of their siblings and friends do but at a level that is designed to meet their special needs.The Amerks mascot, the Moose, will make an appearance at the tournament at 1 p.m. on Saturday to help cheer on participants.Teams from Rochester, Albany, Boston, Buffalo as well as Durham, Ontario and St. Catharines, Ontario, will take part in the tournament.
Games will be played on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a special ceremony acknowledging all players at 12:15 p.m. On Sunday "ALL STAR" games will be played from 9 a.m. to noon.
