Bulldogs Fight Griffins Twice in Final Home Games

April 9, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL) Hamilton Bulldogs

This week, the Hamilton Bulldogs face off against the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of Colorado Avalanche) at Quicken Loans Arena on Friday, April 13th, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. before returning to Copps Coliseum to close out their 2011-2012 season with two home games against the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings) on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 15th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Both home games will be broadcast on Cable 14.

The final taping of Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Hour presented by Faloney's will take place TOMORROW, Tuesday, April 10th, 2012. The show starts at 7 p.m. at Faloney's of Ancaster (534 Garner Road East in Ancaster). This episode will feature Gabriel Dumont, Peter Delmas and Olivier Fortier.

- Vancouver C Maxim Lapierre scored a goal vs. the Anaheim Ducks (Apr. 3).

- Nashville RW Andrei Kostitsyn recorded an assist vs. the Dallas Stars (Apr. 5) and picked up an assist vs. the Colorado Avalanche (Apr. 7).

- Montreal G Carey Price earned the Montreal Canadiens Molson Cup Player of the Year award for the 2011-2012 season, awarded annually to the team's overall leader in three-stars voting.
