Danbury Police Vs. Danbury Fire Department in Charity Hockey Game

This Saturday, April 7th at 4 pm at the Danbury Ice Arena, the 9th Annual Charity Hockey Game between the Danbury Police and the Danbury Fire Department will be played.police fire game mjkg3YdSE0HrFHka1S0ey1IQ76F72NO0dz7RWfpKc=]In the series between the two organizations, the Danbury Fire Department has won four times, while the Danbury Police Department has won three times. One contest was a tie.
This event has raised over $50,000 in the last 8 years for several organizations.
This year, the DPD is playing for the Survivors Foundation which takes care of the families of the officers who have been killed in the line of duty throughout Connecticut.
The DFD will be playing for the Burn Center.
The Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital is currently undergoing a $1.5 million dollar renovation. When completed, the Connecticut Burn Center will serve all of the residents in the State of Connecticut.
Tickets are $10.00 at the door. Last year over 1,200 fans attended.
The puck will drop at 4:00 pm, be there to support two great organizations.
