Rampage Sign Defenseman Alex Petrovic to ATO

SAN ANTONIO (March 21, 2012) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed defenseman Alex Petrovic to an amateur try-out (ATO). In addition, the Rampage have reassigned defenseman Keith Seabrook to their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.Petrovic, 20, played in 68 games with the Red Deer Rebels (WHL) this season posting 12 goals and 36 assists. In five seasons with the Rebels, the 6-foot-4, 193-pound blueliner totaled 29 goals and 117 assists in 270 games with a plus-16 rating. The Edmonton, Alberta native was selected by the Florida Panthers in the second round (36th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Seabrook, 23, has appeared in 45 games with the Rampage this season tallying three goals and 10 assists. He joins the Cyclones for his third stint this season and has played in four games with Cincinnati recording one assist. He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
