Forward Marcus Foligno Recalled from Rochester

(Rochester, NY)... Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Marcus Foligno has been recalled on an emergency basis from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

In his first professional season, Foligno (8/10/91, 6'3", 227 lbs) is tied for second in scoring on the Americans with 34 points ( 14+ 20) and 70 penalty minutes in 55 games.

A native of Buffalo, NY, Foligno will join the Sabres on his fourth career recall after being selected by the Sabres in the fourth round (104t h overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
