Cameron Brace Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

February 27, 2012 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Owen Sound Attack

The Owen Sound Attack has named forward Cameron Brace the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 26th.

Brace, a Markham native put together another solid week for the Owen Sound Attack. After being held goalless in a 4-3 overtime win on Wednesday evening against Sarnia, Brace and his Attack mates travelled to Guelph to take on the Storm. Brace notched the Attack's 2nd goal of the game, giving him his 25th marker on the season.

The Attack returned home on Saturday evening to take on the Kitchener Rangers in a MidWest Division tilt. After a scoreless first, Brace took control of the game scoring both the Attack's 1st and 2nd goals of the game en route to a 7-1 win and 1st Star Honours.

Brace has put together a spectacular February, tallying 11 goals and 7 assists in 11 games played and sits tied for 1st in the OHL with 7 Short Handed goals.
