BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators ended a five game skid with a commanding 6-2 victory over the Portland Pirates at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday night.

B-Sens captain Mark Parrish tallied a pair of goals to lead the B-Sens offense. Eric Gryba, Dan Henningson, Corey Locke and Mike Bartlett also found the back of the net for Binghamton.

Bartlett also drew an assist in the game for a two point night. Mike Hoffman (three assists), Rob Klinkhammer (two assists) and Craig Schira (two assists) also managed multiple nights.

Evan Bloodoff and Patrick O'Sullivan each scored goals for the visiting Pirates.

Robin Lehner made his second straight start in goal for the B-Sens, making 36 saves to improve to 8-16-1 on the season. Marc Cheverie drew the start in goal for the Pirates, but would be replaced by Justin Pogge in the second period after allowing five goals on 19 shots. Pogge stopped eight of nine shots in the game.

Binghamton ended the night 1-for-4 with the man advantage and went a perfect 3-for-3 on the penalty kill.

The B-Sens complete a stretch of three games in three nights as they travel to Albany to take on the Devils tomorrow at 4 p.m. Fans can tune into the action live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 30 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
