LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, fell to the Arizona Sundogs 3-1.

The Laredo Bucks faced the Arizona Sundogs for the fifth time this season Friday night in Prescott Valley. The series was tied 2-2 going into tonight's contest.

The Laredo Bucks Torrie Jung stood tall as he faced pressure from the Sundog offense during the first ten minutes of play. The Bucks then flipped the switch and put the pressure on the Sundog netminder during the second half of the period. Neither team was able to break through as the period came to a close. The Bucks were outshot 16-13 in the first.

Arizona jumped on the board twice within the first five minutes of the second period, taking a 2-0 lead. However, Neil Trimm cut the lead to one on an odd-man rush at 5:39. Adam Rivet assisted on the goal. Torrie Jung continued to stand strong as he faced 26 shots in the period, while Laredo only had 9 shots on goal.

The Bucks trailed the Arizona Sundogs by one goal going into the third period of play. The two teams played a tight period. The Bucks pulled Torrie Jung with less than two minutes to play, but they were unable to take advantage of the extra skater.
