Miracle Looking for Anthem Singers

January 10, 2012 - Florida State League (FSL) Fort Myers Miracle

FORT MYERS, FL (January 10, 2012) The Fort Myers Miracle are looking for the best voices or musicians in Southwest Florida to sing or perform the National Anthem for the upcoming Minnesota Twins Spring Training or Fort Myers Miracle Baseball seasons. The tryouts will occur on Wednesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 26 from 3:30-6 p.m. Auditions will be held at Hammond Stadium.

Eligibility: Anyone is eligible to audition for the opportunity to become a National Anthem Singer for Minnesota Twins Spring Training/Fort Myers Miracle. You must be present for the audition on time or you will lose your audition time.

Material: Each individual must be prepared to sing an a cappella (without music) version of the Star Spangled Banner to a panel of judges on Wednesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 26 at Hammond Stadium. The audition will not be longer than five (5) minutes in length. Musicians are allowed to perform the anthem with instruments.

Competition: Each individual must register in advance to schedule an audition time on Wednesday, January 25 and Thursday, January 26. Audition times will be booked on a first-come, first serve basis until the slots are filled. Please note that National Anthem singers will be requested as needed, and that by auditioning, singers are not guaranteed an opportunity to sing at an event.

You must reserve a time slot to audition. Walk-ups will not be accepted on the day of auditions. Those unable to come on Jan.25th or 26th can contact the Miracle prior to the auditions to discuss alternative options.
