McCollum to Grand Rapids

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that goaltender Thomas McCollum has been reassigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. In a separate move, Toledo signed goaltender Christian Davis as an emergency backup.McCollum started his seventh consecutive game last night for the Walleye in Toledo's 3-0 loss to Cincinnati. The Sanborn, New York native has a 5-6-1 record with Toledo to go along with a 2.68 goals against average and a .905 save percentage. The Griffins host the Milwaukee Admirals tonight.
