Chiefs Reassign Hamblin
December 5, 2011 - Western Hockey League (WHL) Spokane Chiefs
The Spokane Chiefs have reassigned defenseman Cole Hamblin to the Selkirk Steelers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The 18-year-old appeared in 19 games over two seasons scoring one goal, six points and was a cumulative +5. He played seven games this season with one assist.The move leaves the Chiefs with 23 players on their roster; two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 13 forwards.
Spokane will play their sixth straight road game this Friday night when they travel to Everett for the first time this season. The Chiefs will host the Prince George Cougars on Saturday night on the Annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by The Spokesman-Review Christmas Fund.
