Renegades Announce Opening DayNovember 21, 2011 - New York-Penn League (NYPL) Hudson Valley Renegades
The Renegades will play 38 games at Dutchess Stadium, with their final home game set for August 29 against the Brooklyn Cyclones (New York Mets). The team will conclude their season on the road in Troy, NY against the Tri-City ValleyCats (Houston Astros) on September 5.
Regular season home games will have first pitch set for 7:05pm Monday-Saturday, excluding the Renegades opening homestand (June 18-19) and final game (August 29), where they will be played at 6:35pm. Sunday home games will begin at 5:05pm. The schedule also features two midweek matinees, which will take place Monday, July 16 (11:05am) and Sunday, August 26 (1:05pm).
The Renegades front office is preparing to build on the experience of a Renegades game, through an enticing assortment of promotions, giveaways and firework shows. According to Eben Yager, Renegades General Manager, "the last two seasons of Be Your Own Fan have given us a chance to connect with our fans on a much deeper level. We are excited about some of the new ideas our staff has put together that will ensure the experience of just that- being your own fan- is even more enjoyable in 2012."
The Renegades are members of the New York-Penn League and are one of four teams owned and operated by the Goldklang Group. The Renegades are entering their sixteenth year of affiliation with the Tampa Bay Rays.
