2012 Lake Erie Crushers Schedule Released

October 13, 2011 - Frontier League (FL) Lake Erie Crushers

Avon, Oh- The Lake Erie Crushers open the 2012 Frontier League schedule at All Pro Freight Stadium on Friday, May 18 verse one of the two newest teams in the Frontier League, Schaumberg Professional Baseball. The Crushers will play 48 home games throughout the 2012 season, making up 11 total home stands. The final regular season home game will be Sunday, August 26.

Game times and the 2012 promotional schedule will be announced before the holidays.

London Professional Baseball, located in London, Ontario, is the second newest addition to the Frontier League. London Professional Baseball will travel to Avon, Ohio for the 4th of July home stand, July 3-5.

The 2012 All Star Game will take place on Wednesday, July 11 at the Corn Crib, home of the Normal Cornbelters in Normal, IL. The All Star teams will be split amongst the two divisions, East and West. The East division is made up of the Lake Erie Crushers, Washington Wild Things, Traverse City Beach Bums, London Professional Baseball, Southern Illinois Miners, Evansville Otters and Florence Freedom. The West division consists of the River City Rascals, Gateway Grizzles, Schaumberg Professional Baseball, Normal CornBelters, Rockford RiverHawks, Windy City ThunderBolts and Joliet Slammers.
