Walleye Hook a Rookie of the Year

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward Aaron Lewicki agreed to terms for the 2011-12 season.

Lewicki just completed his first professional season with Rio Grande in the CHL. The Livonia, Michigan native appeared in 62 games with the Killer Bees, scoring 23 goals with 29 assists. The 24-year-old was named the Central Hockey League's Rookie of the Year for the 2010-11 season. Aaron played his college hockey at Ferris State University where he appeared in 148 games and was a three-time CCHA Scholar-Athlete. He finished his collegiate career with 71 points (35g, 36a) for the Bulldogs.

"Aaron is coming off of a great season where he was named the Central Hockey League's Rookie of the Year," said Head Coach Nick Vitucci. "He is an all-around player with a flair for offense."
