Green Mountain Rock Crushers to Take Part in Champlain Valley Fair

Morrisville, VT August 15, 2011 - The Green Mountain Rock Crushers of the Federal Hockey League are coming to the Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, Vermont! The Fair runs from August 27th to September 6th and showcases a variety of Vermont agricultural and entertainment venues. The Fair will host top music stars such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Bruno Mars and Big Time Rush. Over 200,000 people annually attend Vermont's largest event.

Rock Crushers players will be on hand to chat with fans and sign autographs. Information on season tickets, group tickets, promotional events and corporate sponsorships will also be available. Training camp opens on Oct. 14. The Rock Crushers kick off their inaugural season on Oct. 28 with a home-and-home series against the defending FHL champion Akwesasne Warriors.

The FHL will play 53-game schedule, including five games at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine, the former home of the Lewiston MAINEiacs of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
