Tulsa Oilers Load Up at the Forward Position

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League are excited to announce the signings of forwards Mike Ullrich, Ryan Cramer, Kevin Fukala and Dylan Clarke for the upcoming season.

Cramer came to the Oilers at the end of last season as an amateur from Bemidji State University where he competed for four seasons. Cramer had his best season in 2009-10 when he scored 13 goals and added 8 assists for 21 points in 37 games. "At 6'2" and 210 pounds, Ryan impressed us last year with his size and mobility, and he should be one of the top rookies in the league this season," states head Coach Bruce Ramsay .

Ullrich comes to the Oilers from the South Alberta Institute of Technology where in just 3 seasons, he put up some impressive numbers. At 6'2" and 200 pounds, Mike, a natural Center, gained 139 points in 81 games during his time in Alberta. Head Coach Bruce Ramsay quotes,"Mike Ullrich had three tremendous seasons in Alberta and had very good reviews from the people I spoke with. He will bring size, mobility, and great leadership qualities to Tulsa and will be a great asset for us throughout this season."

Clarke captained the University of Plattsburg last season where he competed for four seasons. A 6'2" 200 pound winger, Dylan averaged over a point a game for four seasons at Plattsburg, and has a strong pedigree as his brother Dale has played in the NHL and AHL. "Dylan had an outstanding college career where he was the team Captain and yearly made team all-star selections. He will bring very strong attributes to the Oilers' organization," states Head Coach Bruce Ramsay.

Fukala, a 6'2" 220 pound forward, comes from Augusta of the SPHL where, in 23 games, he earned 4 points while accruing 136 penalty minutes. "Kevin is the type of player that will become a fan favorite immediately as he is as tough as they come and more than willing to stand up for his teammates," said head Coach Bruce Ramsay.

The Tulsa Oilers continue to build a team that will mirror the success of last year's squad which had its best season in 17 years.
