The Ports hit back-to-back home runs in the third inning to take a 2-0 lead and starter Jacob Brown took a perfect game into the fifth inning. However, the JetHawks came back with a big blow of their own. Jonathan Singleton legged out an infield single and Jonathan Meyer walked to set up Erik Castro. The JetHawks DH blasted a three-run homer into the Lancaster bullpen to put the JetHawks up 3-2.
After allowing the early home runs, JetHawks starter Robby Donovan settled in to pitch six solid innings with six strikeouts. Shane Wolf followed with two perfect innings of relief, striking out the 200th batter of his Lancaster career along the way. Kirk Clark closed the game out for his second save in as many nights and 19th of the season.
It is the first time the JetHawks have won back-to-back games since the 14th and 15th of July.
