Omaha Nighthawks News Release

OMAHA, Neb., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 - In response to the flooding of Omaha and surrounding communities, the Omaha Nighthawks will be aiding the city's sandbagging efforts for flood relief. Members of the Nighthawks organization will be volunteering at the Levi Carter Park site on June 30 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

"We are committed to providing Omaha with a team it can be proud of," said Head Coach JOE MOGLIA. "This includes our efforts both on and off the field. Our franchise is focused on helping the City of Omaha and its citizens however we can. We hope others will join us in our efforts."

Previously, the Nighthawks partnered with the American Red Cross to collect donations for disaster relief at the Second Annual Fan Fest, and General Manager RICK MUELLER and other members of the organization aided in the Salvation Army's "Money-Bags" event earlier this week.
