The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native spent the 2010-11 campaign in Finland with Tappara Tampere (SM-Liiga), where he ranked first on the team with 18 goals and 38 points and held third with 20 assists and second with 105 penalty minutes in 58 contests. The University of Denver graduate and 2004 ECHL Rookie of the Year made his National Hockey League debut with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2007-08, notching his first career NHL point - an assist on Jan. 15 against the Detroit Red Wings - and four penalty minutes in eight games.
