FORT WAYNE, Ind. - OF Luis Domoromo went 4-for-4 with his first home run of the season, but the Bowling Green Hot Rods overcame an early deficit to beat the TinCaps, 6-3, Wednesday at Parkview Field.

After RHP Keyvius Sampson worked out of jams in the first two innings, Domoromo launched his first home run of the year just over the right-field wall in the bottom of the second to put Fort Wayne ahead, 1-0.

An inning later, Chris Bisson doubled to the gap in left-center; three batters later, Domoromo slapped an RBI single to left to make it 2-0.

In the fourth, Dan Killian drove an opposite-field home run to left to push the margin to 3-0.

The Hot Rods didn't get on the board until the fifth. Kevin Kiermaier tripled to the left-field corner and two batters later, Phil Wunderlich hit a broken-bat RBI single to make it 3-1.

In the seventh, Cody Rogers pounded a two-run homer to tie the game.

The TinCaps squandered a scoring opportunity in the bottom of the seventh with Killian at third and one out. The Hot Rods took advantage in the ninth. After Rogers and Robby Price were hit by pitches, Wunderlich pounded a three-run homer to put Bowling Green ahead, 6-3.

Fort Wayne RHP Yefri Carvajal (0-2) took the loss; Bowling Green LHP Jimmy Patterson (2-0) struck out seven over four scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Fort Wayne dropped to 13-21; Bowling Green improved to 18-15.

The TinCaps and Hot Rods (Class-A Tampa Bay Rays) finish the three-game series Thursday at 7:05 p.m. Fort Wayne RHP Zach Cates (0-3) takes the ball against Bowling Green LHP Braulio Lara (1-2).
