Cougars Select Forward Mitchell Lipon in Seventh Round at 2011 WHL Bantam Draft

PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce the selection of forward Mitchell Lipon in the seventh round at the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.

Lipon, who hails from Regina, Saskatchewan, played for the Regina Hurricanes of the Southern Saskatchewan Bantam Hockey League. The 5'6", 125 pound centre collected 25 goals and 16 assists for 41 points in 22 regular season games. Lipon had 50 penalty minutes. Lipon added six goals and seven assists for 13 points in six playoff games.

The Cougars selected Lipon 142nd overall.
