Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders selected centre Tim Vanstone, goaltender Rylan Parenteau and centre Landon Welykholowa with their 52nd, 53rd and 58th overall picks respectively, in the third round of the of the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft in Calgary Alberta this morning.

52nd Overall: Tim Vanstone

Position: Centre Height: 5'11" Weight: 175lbs

Shoots: Right Born: Swift Current, SK

This past season Vanstone led the South Sask Bantam League in scoring with 27 goals, 32 assists for 59 points to go along with 82 penalty minutes with the Swift Current AA Bantam Raiders.

"Tim is a hard working forward that competes all the time" said Raiders Head Scout and Director of Player Personnel Dale Derkatch. "He is a well rounded player and has leadership qualities that we are excited to have in our organization."

53rd Overall: Rylan Parenteau

Position: Goaltender Height: 5'10" Weight: 150lbs

Catches: Right Born: Saskatoon, SK

"Rylan is a confident goalie and challenges well" said Dale Derkatch.

58th Overall: Landon Welykholowa

Position: Centre Height: 5'11" Weight: 165lbs

Shoots: Right Born: Calgary, AB

Welykholowa finished 4th on his team and 15th in the Alberta Major Bantam League in scoring with 22 goals and 29 assists for 51 points.

"Landon has good skills and a great work ethic" said Derkatch "He is a solid overall player and we are happy to have him on board."
