Moose Jaw, SK.--- The Moose Jaw Warriors have selected Josh Uhrich as their 2nd round 33rd overall pick in the 2011 Bantam Draft. Josh is from Rosetown, SK.

Josh Uhrich played for Notre Dame this past season as a right winger. Josh had 48 points in 23 games in 2010/11 along with 65 PIM's.

The Warriors received the 33rd overall pick from the Brandon Wheat Kings in 2009/10 in the Travis Hamonic trade. The Warriors have traded two additional second round picks and a 5th round pick to the Regina Pats for the 16th overall pick and a 4th round pick.

The WHL Bantam Draft is the first opportunity for WHL Clubs to replenish their systems with graduating Bantam-aged players. The order of selection for the first round of the draft is determined through a weighted lottery consisting of the six non-playoff teams. The draft order is based on the inverse overall standings from the regular season.

Players eligible for the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft will be 1996-born players who reside in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
