Sounds Road Opener Rained Out

PAPILLION, Neb. - Friday night's scheduled series opener between the Nashville Sounds and Omaha Storm Chasers at Werner Park has been postponed due to inclement weather in the greater Omaha area.
The teams will attempt to play the inaugural game at Werner Park on Saturday evening at 7:05 p.m. Left-hander Manny Parra (0-0, 20.25) is scheduled to man the bump for the Sounds in his second rehab outing with the club. Omaha will counter with southpaw Danny Duffy (0-0, 3.60).
Friday's rainout will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, April 17, beginning at 2:05 p.m., the regularly scheduled time. The twinbill will consist of two seven-inning games.
