Islanders Recall Dylan Reese and Mark Katic

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Mar. 29, 2011) - The New York Islanders announced this afternoon that defensemen Dylan Reese and Mark Katic have been recalled from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
Reese, 26, earns his fifth NHL recall this season. The Pittsburgh, PA native has appeared in 21 games with the Islanders this season, recording one assist against Vancouver on Jan. 11, 2011. Katic heads back to the Islanders for the second time this year. The Porcupine, Ont. native appeared in five games during his first recall and made his NHL debut on Feb. 24, 2011 at Philadelphia where he registered an assist.
