Port St. Lucie, FL, March 24, 2011 -The Bisons won their second straight spring exhibition game, defeating the Memphis Redbirds, 2-1, on Thursday afternoon.
The Bisons are now 2-5 on their 13-game spring training schedule.
Both Herd runs were driven in by players who were with the team a season ago. OF JASON PRIDIE collected an RBI-double and then scored the game-winning run on a OF FERNANDO MARTINEZ single. For both players, the run-scoring hits came in their only at-bat of the game.
There are just 14 days until the Bisons' 2011 Home Opener on Thursday, April 7 against the Syracuse Chiefs (3:05 p.m.). Tickets are now on-sale at bisons.com or by calling THE-HERD at (843-4373).
