Blues Activate Halak; Assign Bishop

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has activated goaltender Jaroslav Halak from Injured Reserve. In addition, the club assigned goaltender Ben Bishop to the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Bishop, 24, has started 29 games for the Rivermen this season compiling a record of 15-12-1 including a 2.52 goals against average, .916 save percentage as well as two shutouts. The, 6'7, 215-pound goaltender has also appeared in seven games for the Blues posting a 3-4-0 record including a 2.76 goals against average and a .899 save percentage.

Halak, 25, has appeared in 43 games for the Blues this season posting a 19-17-6 record including a 2.63 goals against average, .907 save percentage and four shutouts.
