IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals and the Greenville Road Warriors meet for the final time in the regular season at 4:05 p.m. at the BI-LO Center. The Road Warriors defeated the Jackals on Saturday evening, 5-3.
TRISTIN'S FIRST TALLY
Jackals defenseman Tristin Llewellyn recorded his first professional goal on Saturday night with under seven seconds remaining in the third period, backhanding a puck over Greenville goaltender Nic Riopel to make it 5-3. The rookie from Ann Arbor, Mich. has five assists to go along with his goal for six points.
JACKALS SIGN FIDLER
The Jackals have signed defenseman Leland Fidler to a standard player contract. A rookie out of Bowdoin College (NCAA, D-III), Fidler skated last Sunday with Elmira in its 4-3 victory over the Trenton Devils.
