Trenton, MI - February 14, 2011 - Motor City Metal Jackets sweep the Port Huron Fighting Falcons in Port Huron over the weekend.

The Motor City Metal Jackets beat Port Huron 4-1 both nights. The Metal Jackets start a road trip for the month of February and some of March on the road.

On Friday night the first period was all goaltending with no scoring. Port Huron out-shoot the Metal Jackets 14-11. In the second period the Port Huron started the scoring 6:02 in the period and 30 second later Graves buried one from Walsh and Slaton. Then Sipila scored on the power play to make it 2-1 after two. Then in the 3rd period Sipila netted his second goal of the game and was capped off with a goal from Walsh.

Saturday was some much of the same. Cody Wydo opened the scoring in the first period and then Will Badner netted 2 goals with one in the 2nd and 3rd and Monfredo put in the open netter to cap off a 4-1 game.

The Metal Jackets go on the road against Chicago this weekend. Currently the Metal Jackets are tied for 4th in the North Division and only 1 point out of 3rd and 6 points out of the 2nd.

The Motor City Metal Jackets are a Junior A Organization playing in the North Division of the North American Hockey League.
