For the final time in the regular season, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Greenville Road Warriors. The K-Wings trail the season series with a record of 1-3-0-0, all-time Kalamazoo is 3-3-0-0 versus Greenville, which includes last season when the team was known as the Johnstown Chiefs.
With 48 points, the K-Wings enter tonight tied for second place in the North Division with the Cincinnati Cyclones. This evening is game three of five games in the course of six nights for the K-Wings, who will end the stretch this Monday night during the 11th Annual Pink Ice Game versus the Wheeling Nailers.
Playing the middle game of brief three-game road swing, Greenville started the trip with a 4-3 overtime victory last night over the Toledo Walleye. The Road Warriors lead the South Division with 62 points, three points ahead of the Florida Everblades, who currently occupy second place.
