Senators Recall Bobby Butler and Jim O'Brien from Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forwards Bobby Butler and Jim O'Brien from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .

The recall is the 24-year-old Butler's fourth of the season by the Senators. In eight National Hockey League games in 2010-11, he has been held scoreless with no penalty minutes.

A native of Marlborough, Mass., Butler has scored 22 goals while recording 11 assists and 35 penalty minutes in 46 games with Binghamton this season.

O'Brien, 21, was recalled to Ottawa for the first time on Dec. 31 and made his NHL debut in the Senators' 4-3 overtime loss at Columbus that evening. In three NHL games this season, he has not recorded any points or penalty minutes.

A native of Maplewood, Minn., O'Brien has scored 13 goals while adding 21 assists and 55 penalty minutes in 48 games with the B-Sens this season.

The Senators next see action this evening when they visit the Flames at Calgary's Scotiabank Saddledome at 9:30 p.m. EST.
