Stamps make roster moves

Calgary Stampeders News Release
Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce that non-import receiver Blaine Kruger and import defensive back Raymond Brown have signed practice-roster agreements with the club. As per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Kruger dressed for both pre-season games with Calgary this season and spent the first three weeks of the campaign on the practice roster before being released. He dressed for three games in 2009, but spent most of his time on the practice squad. Kruger was the leading receiver for the UBC Thunderbirds in 2008 and spent three seasons with the Victoria Rebels of the British Columbia Football Conference prior to that.
Brown was in training camp with the Stampeders earlier this year. Prior to joining Calgary, he played in all three phases of the game for the Kansas Jayhawks as he saw action as a receiver, a defensive back and on special teams.
The next home game for the Stamps is on Friday, Oct. 22 against the BC Lions at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available by contacting the Stampeders' Ticket Office (403-289-0258 or toll free at 1-800-667-3267), Ticketmaster (403-777-0000 or online at Ticketmaster.ca) or by visiting any local Safeway or Sport Chek location.
