Arizona Sundogs News Release

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League, in conjunction with the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League, today announced a marketing affiliation between the two clubs for the upcoming 2010-11 season.

The Sundogs have an established relationship with the Phoenix Coyotes organization, first serving as the Coyotes' double-A affiliate during the club's championship season in 2007-08.

"The Arizona Sundogs established a very strong and successful working relationship with the Phoenix Coyotes during the 2007-08 season, culminating with the Sundogs' 2008 Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Championship," said Sundogs President Jerry McBurney. "It makes sense to once again work in partnership with the Coyotes for the 2010-11 season as both organizations are certain to benefit from working together to grow the sport of hockey in the state of Arizona."

"We are excited to announce our affiliation agreement with the Arizona Sundogs," said Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager Brad Treliving. "We look forward to working with the Sundogs as we collectively continue to grow the game of hockey throughout the state of Arizona. We look forward to building a great relationship."

As part of the partnership, fans and ticket holders of both teams will be able to receive discounted tickets to select Coyotes and Sundogs home games throughout the 2010-11 season.

The agreement also allows for the possibility of Coyotes prospects to be assigned to the Sundogs at the direction of the Coyotes.

Arizona also served as the double-A affiliate for the NHL's Colorado Avalanche during the 2006-07 season.
