Sundogs Set to Open 2010 Training Camp Monday

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced today they will open their 2010 training camp on Monday, Oct. 4 at 10:00am at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.
The Sundogs expect to open camp with 28 players vying for 19 regular season roster spots. Additional players may be added throughout training camp. The CHL deadline for finalized rosters is 1:00pm (Arizona time) on Thursday, Oct. 14.
On-ice practice sessions will be open to the public Monday, Oct. 4 through Thursday, Oct. 7 from 10:00-11:30am. Fans wishing to attend are asked to enter through the Arizona Sundogs Team Store at the Northwest corner of the arena. Seating will be available in Sections 203-206.
The Sundogs' 2010 training camp schedule also features a pair of preseason games against the defending Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Champion Rapid City Rush on Saturday, Oct. 9 (6:05pm Arizona time) and Sunday, Oct. 10 (5:05pm Arizona time) at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, South Dakota. Both games will be broadcast live on KDDL 'Cattle Country' 94.3 FM, the Official Radio Home of Arizona Sundogs Hockey.
Arizona opens the 2010-11 season on the road against the Colorado Eagles on Friday, Oct. 15 at 6:05pm (Arizona time) and returns home to host the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7:05pm. Single game tickets start at just $12 and go on sale this Friday, Oct. 1 at 10:00am.
