Spitfires Sign 2010 Second Round Pick Michael Clarke to OHL Contract

(Windsor) Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel today announced the signing of Michael Clarke, Windsor's second round pick, 38th overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection to an OHL contract and education package.
Clarke, a 16 year-old centre and native of London, Ont. is listed at 6'1" and 170 pounds. He played 32 games for the London Jr. Knights Minor Midgets of the Alliance Hockey League and scored 16 goals while registering 36 points for the Knights last season. Clarke also participated in Team Ontario's U-17 Final Selection Camp this past July.
"Michael is an excellent two-way player who competes on both ends of the ice. He'll be a big part of our youth movement and his invite to Team Ontario's U-17 Camp is indicative of his talent and work ethic. Michael will attend our training camp next week and we are pleased to have him join our organization," said Warren Rychel.
