Swift Current, SK---Swift Current Broncos General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb has announced the club has acquired prospect Matthew Francyzk from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for Preston Amundson.
Francyzk, 17 years old, is a 6'2" 200 pound defenseman from Winnipeg. He was selected by the Warriors in the 5th round, 89th overall in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft. Last season with the Winnipeg Wild of the Manitoba Midget League, Francyzk had 4 goals and 25 points in 41 games.
