Correll Selected To The 2010 Northern League All-Star Team

The 2010 Northern League All-Star team was announced today and Brad Correll will represent the Joliet JackHammers in Tucson, Arizona. The Northern League All-Stars will battle the Golden Baseball League All-Star team on July 14th at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson.
Correll, 29, leads the JackHammers with 13 doubles, fifth best in the league, and 19 walks despite missing over a week with an injury. Overall, Correll is hitting .299 with three home runs, 20 runs batted in and 22 runs scored in 34 games this season.
"We are extremely proud to have Brad representing the JackHammers organization," said Joliet manager Chad Parker. "It is a testament to the type of player Brad is and has been throughout his career. He has not only earned respect from his teammates, but from fellow managers and coaches around the league."
This marks the second selection to the Northern League All-Star team for Correll. The third baseman was named to the 2008 squad as a member of the Kansas City T-Bones, only to have his contract purchased by the Kansas City Royals prior to the game.
