Hickory, N.C. - The first-place Hickory Crawdads became the first team in the South Atlantic League to reach 30 wins with a 3-1 win over the Delmarva Shorebirds last Thursday night. The 'Dads have held on to first place since May 12, a span of 21 days.
The Crawdads are currently 33-20 and hold a three game lead in the SAL Northern Division over the Lakewood BlueClaws. They are tied with the Augusta GreenJackets for the best record in the entire SAL.
