Yoshida to Make Girl Power Night Appearance

(Chico, CA.) - Serving as an inspiration to women around the world, Eri Yoshida will be making a public appearance in conjunction with "Girl Power Night", brought to you by Habitat Women Build, on Monday May 24th. Outlaws GM and former Los Angeles Dodger Mike Marshall will also be in attendance with Yoshida during the appearance, which is scheduled to run from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the Habitat Build Project in Habitat Greens Subdivision on the corner of 16th St and D Street.

Yoshida and Marshall will sign autographs, take pictures and take part in a meet and greet at the event.

Habitat Women Build will be sponsoring "Girl Power Night" at Nettleton Stadium on Saturday May 29th at 7:05 pm as Eri Yoshida makes history by becoming the first woman to pitch professionally in two countries. Tickets for fans wanting to attend the May 29th game will be sold at the appearance.

Habitat for Humanity's Women Build program promotes the involvement of women in the construction of Habitat houses. Women-built projects provide an opportunity for women to learn construction in a supportive environment, and to nurture, recruit, and train women to build and maintain simple, decent,healthy, and affordable homes.

The Outlaws open the 2010 GBL season on the road tomorrow night, Friday May 21st in Tijuana. The home opener for the Outlaws is on Wednesday May 26th at 6:35 pm against Tijuana. Full-season tickets and mini-plans are available, as are single game tickets.
