Real Salt Lake Moves Saturday's Kickoff To 2:00 Pm Mt

SANDY, Utah (Monday, May 3, 2010) - Real Salt Lake today announced that this Saturday's home game against the expansion Philadelphia Union will now kick off at 2:00 p.m. MT, clearing the way for sports fans across the Wasatch Front to support both the 2009 MLS Cup Champions and the NBA Utah Jazz, which host the Los Angeles Lakers in Game Three of a 2nd-round playoff game later on Saturday night in nearby Salt Lake City. All tickets reflecting the previously announced kickoff time will be honored at Rio Tinto Stadium; Carnival Real opens on the East Lawn at 12 noon MT with Stadium doors opening at 1:00 p.m. MT.

After returning home last Saturday with a 2-1 win over Toronto FC, Real Salt Lake (2-3-1, 7 pts.) continues its current homestand at Rio Tinto Stadium this Saturday, May 8, when the defending MLS Cup Champions will play its first-ever match against expansion side Philadelphia Union (1-4-0, 3 pts.).

Kickoff in Sandy for Mother's Day Weekend, Presented by OhMyCrafts.com, is set for 2:00 p.m. MT, with a specially-priced ticket offer for Moms to get in FREE available by visiting OhMyCrafts.com. As part of Saturday's festivities, OhMyCrafts.com will provide fans with a Mother's Day card-making station in Carnival Real, with the first 50 moms to register at the booth earning an opportunity to dash across the field at halftime to win one of 50 prizes from OhMyCrafts.com. The match will be televised live on RSL's broadcast partner KUSG 2.2 (Comcast 111/Dish Network 12), to be followed by the America First Credit Union Post-game Report.
