Defenseman Scott Hotham Returns from Rochester

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron have announced that defenseman Scott Hotham has been returned from Rochester (AHL).

Hotham, 25, earned his first promotion to Rochester on March 7, 2010. The Barrie, Ontario native appeared in four games with the Americans and scored two goals and recorded a minor penalty. Hotham has appeared in 60 games with Florida this season and has five markers and 26 assists for 31 points and 50 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defenseman ranks T1st in power-play assists (18) among rookies and T3rd in power-play points (22). He also ranks third amongst ECHL defenseman in power-play assists (18).

The Florida Everblades and Charlotte Checkers meet tonight and Thursday, March 25 in Time Warner Cable Arena for the final times in the regular season. Florida then travels to Gwinnett to battle the Gladiators on Saturday and Sunday at The Arena at the Gwinnett Center .
