B-Sens Dethrone Monarchs 5-3

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The B-Sens opened a brutal New England swing on a high note, as they defeated the Manchester Monarchs 5-3 in a Wednesday evening tilt.

Josh Hennessy lead the charge for the B-Sens tallying two goals and one assist, including the game winner, while Geoff Kinrade and Zack Smith each notched two assists in the Binghamton victory.

Denis Hamel opened the scoring for the Senators on the power play at 3:19 of the first period to give the B-Sens a 1-0 lead. A four-goal second period followed, helping to propel the Senators past the Monarchs.

Jason Bailey and Ryan Keller also added goals for Binghamton.

Bud Holloway and Justin Azevedo each recorded one goal and one assist for the Monarchs in the Manchester loss.

Up next, the B-Sens travel to Worcester to take on the Atlantic Division leading Sharks at 7:05 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM beginning 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens.
