Milwaukee Brewers Sausages Headline Hammy's Birthday

Rockford, Ill.- Upon returning home from a five-game road swing, the Rockford IceHogs open a season long seven-game homestand on Sunday afternoon when they face-off against the Houston Aeros at 5:05 p.m. inside the Rockford MetroCentre.
The IceHogs are celebrating Hammy's birthday on Sunday with several local mascots including the world famous Milwaukee Brewers Racing Sausages. The Sausages will race around the MetroCentre ice during the first intermission on Sunday.
Also during the first intermission Sunday, mascots will compete in a broomball game. Mascots slated to play in the mascot broomball game include Rocco from the Rockford RiverHawks, Snappy from the Beloit Snappers, Rocky from the Rockford Rampage, Southpaw from the Chicago White Sox, Sky Guy from the Chicago Sky, Jammer from the Joliet Jack Hammers, Chester Cheetah, Andy Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse, Rassy the Moose from Rassmussen College and Wags from Rock Valley Federal Credit Union.
The first 2,500 fans to Sunday's game will receive an IceHogs cereal bowl courtesy of General Mills and 1440 AM WROK. The IceHogs will also be giving away five game worn jerseys from the 2009-10 season. Jerseys that will be given away include Bracken Kearns, Mike Brennan, Simon Danis-Pepin, Mark Cullen and Evan Brophey.
Family Four Packs are available for Sunday as well as fans can purchase four tickets, hot dogs, soft drinks and popcorns for just $44. And the WXRX Student Rush is back for the final time in 2009-10 as all college and high school students with a valid student ID can receive the best available seat for just $10 beginning at 4 p.m. at the MetroCentre Box Office
