The UPS Store and CNY SPCA 'Claw Away Animal Hunger' Program Resumes

Syracuse, NY (March 1, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch, The UPS Stores of Central New York and the CNY SPCA announced today that the 'Claw Away Animal Hunger' program will resume during the month of March.

In the month of March, anyone that stops by a participating The UPS Store location and donates a bag of dry pet food will receive a voucher for one (1) complimentary ticket to one (1) of the following Syracuse Crunch home games:

Tuesday, April 6 vs. Hershey

Friday, April 9 vs. Hamilton

Participating The UPS Store locations are as follows:

Auburn: 144 Genesee Street

Baldwinsville: 8417 Oswego Road

Cicero: 5701 East Circle Drive

Dewitt: 4465 East Genesee Street

Downtown: 201 East Jefferson Street

East Syracuse: 6701 Manlius Center Road

Fayetteville: 201 West Genesee Street

Northern Lights: 4736 Onondaga Blvd.

Nottingham: 118 Julian Place

Skaneateles: 27 Fennell Street

For other items to donate, please refer to the SPCA Wish List on their website at www.cnyspca.org. No canned pet food will be accepted. Offer valid while supplies last. Vouchers good only for dates indicated. Tickets are subject to availability.

The Crunch's next game is Friday, March 5 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
