This week:

The Wolf Pack embark on their only foray North of the Border this year, with visits this week to Hamilton on Saturday night (7:00 faceoff) and Toronto on Sunday (4:00).

Saturday, March 6 at Hamilton (Copps Coliseum), 7:00 PM

* The Bulldogs, who lead the North Division by a margin of 16 points, trail only Hershey in the overall AHL standings, with a record of 39-14-3-5 for 86 points. Hamilton has won five straight games and is 12-2-2-1 in its last 17.

* Hamilton's top offensive threat, second-year pro Brock Trotter, is tied for fourth in the AHL in goals, and tied for fifth in the league in points, with 28-33-61 in 57 games. Goaltender Cedrick Desjardins leads the AHL in goals-against average (1.93) and is fourth in save percentage (92.5).

* This is the second of two games on the year between the Wolf Pack and Bulldogs. Hamilton won the first encounter, 4-1, December 19 in Hartford.

Sunday, March 7 at Toronto (RICOH Coliseum), 4:00 PM

* The Wolf Pack scored a 6-1 win over the Marlies December 18, in the only previous game this year between the two clubs.

* At 24-28-5-5 for 58 points, Toronto currently stands sixth in the North Division, five points behind fifth-place Lake Erie and eight points out of a playoff spot.

* Four of the Marlies' top five scorers, and five of their top seven, are rookies, led by Viktor Stalberg, who is tied with Andre Deveaux for the team points lead at 33 (12-21-33 in 39 GP).

Chad Johnson - recalled by the New York Rangers from the Wolf Pack February 24, and returned to the Wolf Pack February 26.

Steve Valiquette - returned to the Wolf Pack by the New York Rangers February 24.

Andres Amb-hl - reassigned by the New York Rangers to the Wolf Pack from the Swiss National Team February 26.

Miika Wiikman - recalled from the Wolf Pack by the New York Rangers February 26.

Julien Brouillette - signed to Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement by Wolf Pack February 28.

Corey Potter - recalled from the Wolf Pack by the New York Rangers February 28.

Pack Tracks:

The Wolf Pack will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with "Go Green Night" Saturday, March 13. The Mighty Ploughboys will be performing live, as the Wolf Pack host the Lowell Devils that evening at 7:00.

Saturday, March 20, when the Wolf Pack take on the Springfield Falcons in a 7:00 game, is "CT Youth Sports Night" at the XL Center. The Wolf Pack will be honoring Connecticut sports teams and organizations, of all age levels, throughout that evening.

The Wolf Pack's home game that had been scheduled for Thursday, April 1 at the XL Center vs. the Worcester Sharks has been moved to the previous night, Wednesday, March 31. Faceoff time remains 7:00 PM.

At every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday-night Wolf Pack home game for the balance of the regular season, fans can enjoy $3 drafts and snacks in the XL Center Atrium. Also, the Comcast Coliseum Club features a "Warmup Menu", with $3 domestic drafts and appetizers, before every Wolf Pack home game at the XL Center.
